Water: According to Planning for Water Supply Specialty in Shanghai City, by 2010 the water supply to SIMZ would be 5000m3/km2*d and 4000m3/km2* by 2020. Hui Nan Water Plant and Hang Tou Water Plant jointly supply water to SIMZ area.

Sewage: The present sewage flow in SIMZ is 10000 m3/day, future sewage flow upper limit would be 30555 m3/day.

Storm Sewerage: storm sewer is connected to the nearest canals. Sewers are laid along road slopes to reduce depth of embedding sewers.

Electric Power: In master planning, there will be one transformer substation of 220kv, five substations of 35kv, 26 substations of 10kv. Voltage frequency is 50 Hz.

Telecom: It is estimated that 21,000 telephone lines would be needed in SIMZ. North to Zhou Zhu Road there would be a telecommunication branch as well as post office, which handle telecom & mail business.

CATV: CATV signal comes from plant room in Zhou Pu Town. The installation of CATV wires will keep pace with the construction of surrounding city roads.

Natural Gas: 0.4MPa. There is a gas main pipeline going under Zhou Zhu Road in SIMZ. Low pressure gas for civil use is supplied after decompression treatment in gas offtake station.
